19. Saint Louis crown weight containing red and green spiral twists, alternating with white latticinio spokes, emanating from a central salmon, white, Persian blue, powder blue and pistachio cog/star cane. Some bubbles/cullet in the glass. From the Winters collection. Diameter 3 3/16". $3250-4250

20. Nice Clichy pink and white swirl weight, the alternating pinwheels, in pink and white, emanating from a complex ruby, white and blue star cane. Diameter 2 13/16". $2000-2500

21. Very rare Clichy swirl weight a central pink and white rose cane encircled by radiating cobalt blue and white pinwheels. "Under the magnification of the dome, whirling millefiori pinwheels create a scintillating visual illusion. They form a dramatic ground for the millefiori cane. This piece holds one spellbound, a twisting whirlpool with a rose at its center."-The Art of the Paperweight-Challenging Tradition. Diameter 2 3/16". $3000-4000

22. Rare Saint Mande mushroom weight, the tuft containing complex cog, tube and honeycomb canes, in ruby, pink, cobalt blue, wintergreen and white. The stem of the mushroom is pulled down to a star-cut ground inside a blue and white latticinio filigree cable. An air ring runs around the top and bottom of the torsade. This design is attributed to Saint MandŽ because of the resemblance of canes featured in "Saint MandŽ Confirmed," an article in the 1999 Annual Bulletin of the Paperweight Collectors Association, Inc. This weight also bears a close resemblance to many designs of American and Bohemian origin. (See Annual Bulletin of the Paperweight Collectors Association, Inc. 23. Baccarat close packed millefiori mushroom weight, the tuft, composed of stardust, trefoil, quatrefoil, arrow, fortress, shamrock, cog, six-pointed star, whorl and honeycomb canes, in cobalt blue, turquoise, salmon, ruby, cadmium green, amethyst, lemonade and white. A three-dimensional stem has been pulled down to a star-cut ground inside a blue and white latticinio filigree torsade. From the Winters collection. see side view p. 21. Diameter 3 1/8". $1400-1800

24. Rare and excellent Baccarat concentric millefiori mushroom weight with a chain of nine rose portrait canes, the tuft, with rows of complex cog, star and quatrefoil canes, in pink, ruby, yellow, white and emerald. A three-dimensional white stem has been pulled down to a star-cut ground inside a blue and white latticinio filigree torsade. The row of rose portrait canes in this design is exceedingly rare. Hawley identified this type of portrait cane as a rose. Hollister called them camomiles. "Finer mushrooms are the concentrics with even rows of the most subtly tinted canes, and these frequently have pink or red torsades."-The Encyclopedia of Glass Paperweights.
