19. Saint Louis salmon
concentric mushroom weight, a large mushroom with the
tuft composed of four rows of complex cog, star, bundled rod
and floret canes, in spring green, salmon, white, ruby, Persian
blue and powder blue, around a large central complex red, white
and blue crimped cog cane. An outer row of canes has been pulled
down to a star-cut ground to form the spring green stem of the
mushroom. The bouquet is encircled by a torsade composed of Persian
blue spiral filigree around a white latticinio twist. "Though
occasionally close millefiori, these usually lovely and sometimes
ravishing concentric weights show daring color juxtapositions
such as sapphire blue next to chartreuse yellow, coral against
forest green, Persian blue against amber long-spined cerulean

20. Very rare Baccarat
close packed millefiori mushroom weight with three Gridel
silhouette canes, including a pheasant encircled by shamrocks,
a horse and a dog, amidst complex trefoil, six-pointed star,
cog, honeycomb, shamrock, whorl and arrow canes, in the tuft.
A three-dimensional stem has been pulled down to a star-cut ground
inside a blue and white lace filigree torsade. It is very rare
to find three silhouette canes in a mushroom weight. see side

21. Rare Saint Louis amber
ground concentric mushroom bouquet weight, the tuft,
with five concentric circlets of canes, including complex cog,
bundled rod and star canes, in powder blue, salmon, Persian blue,
leaf green and white, around a central salmon tube. A three-dimensional
white stem extends to an amber flash ground inside a crystal
dome with six and one faceting. Tiny piece of cullet in the dome
by a facet. "A few Saint Louis mushrooms have amber flash

22. Very rare
Baccarat double overlay close concentric millefiori mushroom
weight, the tuft, with four rows of complex canes, including
arrow, trefoil, cog, six-pointed star and stardust canes, in
cobalt blue, emerald, ruby, salmon and white, around a central
red, white and blue stardust/arrow/fortress cane. A three-dimensional
stem extends to a star-cut ground, inside a cobalt blue-over-white
double overlay, cut with six and one faceting. Minor wear to
the overlay. "Showy double overlay mushroom weights were
also made at Baccarat and are considered rare."-Paperweights

23. Rare Baccarat
flash overlay concentric millefiori weight containing
four rows of complex canes, including six-pointed star, stardust,
cog and bulls-eye canes, in cobalt blue, white, salmon
and turquoise, arranged around a central arrow/six-pointed star
cane. The design floats above a star-cut ground, inside a ruby
flash overlay, cut with six and one faceting and fancy finger
flutes around the base. "For precision of design, these

24. Saint Louis
concentric mushroom bouquet weight, the tuft, with complex
cog, floret and star canes, in powder blue, salmon, lake red,
Persian blue, leaf green and white. A three-dimensional blue
stem extends to the base of the piece, inside a crystal dome
with a circular top facet and three rows of circular side facets.
