49. Saint Louis upright
bouquet weight. A red clematis, with a yellow matchead
center, crowns a bouquet containing a Persian blue lampwork blossom,
a sulphur yellow lampwork blossom and a white lampwork blossom.
Bubbles have been placed in the center of each flower. The flowers
are nestled on a three-dimensional stem with green leaves, that
extends to a star-cut ground, inside a red and white spiral twist

50. Saint Louis faceted
upright bouquet weight. An Indian yellow clematis, with
a blue matchead center, crowns a bouquet with a Persian blue
lampwork flower, a white lampwork flower, a salmon lampwork flower,
a complex pink and white cog cane, and two red, white and blue
six-pointed star canes. The flowers are nestled on a bed of green
leaves with a short three-dimensional stem that extends to the
bottom of the piece. The petals of the top flower have been variegated
to add realism-a nice and unusual touch. Six and one faceting.

51. Saint Louis faceted
nosegay weight, also known as a flat bouquet, with four
complex cog and six-pointed star cane flowers, in Persian blue,
salmon, sulphur yellow and white, on a stalk inside a tiara of
emerald green leaves. The top of the piece is cut with a circular
facet and there are two rows of circular side facets. "The
Saint Louis flat bouquet and the spiral latticinio ground are
the two greatest influences on American paperweight making."-The

and white crimped cog cane surrounded by complex cog and six-pointed
star canes, in salmon, Persian blue, chartreuse and white, on
a stalk inside a tiara of spring green leaves, inside a garland
of Persian blue and white cog canes, alternating with powder
blue, white and lake red six-pointed star canes. Two of the leaves
