82. Whitefriars-type cone-shaped concentric millefiori inkwell with a concentric arrangement of cog canes, in pink, white, lime and cobalt blue, in the base. A matching lime cog has been flattened to create a distinctive swirl design in the stopper. "From the same glasshouse as the previous example with a good swirl stopper. This type of shape is not as common as the bulbous-shaped inkwells. The bases show a good amount of wear and may be from an earlier period than the Arculus, Richardson and Walsh-Walsh pieces."—Old English Paperweights.Height 5 1/2". $1600-2250

83. Rare Baccarat Dupont millefiori inkwell with matching 1848 date canes in the base and stopper. The base contains circlets of stardust/bull’s-eye and six-pointed star canes, in pink, cadmium green, cobalt blue and white, around a central fake 1848 date cane. The matching stopper contains six-pointed star and stardust/bull’s-eye canes around a central fake 1848 date cane. "Scholars consider these false dates and believe they were made at Baccarat in the early 1900s, perhaps as late as 1930."—The Dictionary of Paperweight Signature Canes.Height 5". $800-1000

84. Nice Saint Louis scrambled millefiori wafer stand with the silhouette of Punch amidst whole and broken canes, twists and pieces of filigree, in pink, salmon, ruby, turquoise, cobalt blue, powder blue, amber, yellow, chartreuse, spring green, cadmium green and white, in a paperweight base.
