90. Excellent Bohemian
scattered millefiori on lace weight with four monkey
silhouettes, two horse silhouettes, and a rare nosegay portrait
cane, amidst complex cog, arrow, star and bulls-eye canes,
in cobalt blue, aquamarine, forest green, pale green, pink, ruby,
white and pale yellow, on a white lace ground. The exterior of
the design is decorated with a spaced garland of colorful broken
canes. Only one other nosegay portrait cane like the one in this
design has been documented. "What differentiates Bohemian
silhouettes such as this from most of their French cousins is
that they normally form the centerpiece of a complex cane, which
often is comprised of various combinations of multi-colored cog,
star or rod canes."The Glass Menagerie: A Study
