close concentric millefiori weight, possibly Bacchus,

104. Whitefriars/H.
G. Richardson Ltd. footed concentric millefiori weight containing
circlets of complex lime, lake red, pink, cobalt blue, yellow
and white cog and quatrefoil canes, around a central cobalt blue
and white cog cane. This piece is identified as a product of
H. G. Richardson because of its very fine cane work. The footed
dome is also a characteristic of many Richardson weights. "The
skills in cane sizing and dexterity demonstrated by the cane
sizers are quite remarkable. The use of small canes is similar

with a border of white cogs. Other designs of this type have
been attributed to Bacchus. Diameter 3 9/16". $600-900

the Bacchus factory; it may be an early weight from this glassworks.
It has a perfectly flat base with a rough pontil mark."Old
English Paperweights.(See Old English Paperweights,p.
177) Diameter 2 7/8". $700-1000
