102. Whitefriars-type tricolor close concentric millefiori weight with alternating circlets of red and white, and blue and white ruffle canes, around a large central ruffle. Cullet in the dome. (See Old English Paperweights,p. 176) Diameter 3 5/16". $400-600

103. Very nice English close concentric millefiori weight, possibly Bacchus, with circlets of complex cog, quatrefoil and ruffle canes, in pale sky blue, cobalt blue, pink, ruby and white, around a central quatrefoil cane. The central cane in this design is often found in Bacchus weights. (See Old English Paperweights,pp. 174, 179) Diameter 3 1/4". $900-1200

104. Whitefriars/H. G. Richardson Ltd. footed concentric millefiori weight containing circlets of complex lime, lake red, pink, cobalt blue, yellow and white cog and quatrefoil canes, around a central cobalt blue and white cog cane. This piece is identified as a product of H. G. Richardson because of its very fine cane work. The footed dome is also a characteristic of many Richardson weights. "The skills in cane sizing and dexterity demonstrated by the cane sizers are quite remarkable. The use of small canes is similar to the modern styles of Baccarat and Saint Louis."—Old English Paperweights.(See Old English Paperweights,pp. 84-92) Diameter 3 7/16". $700-1000

105. English close packed millefiori weight with 21 Queen Victoria silhouettes, origin unknown. A large central turquoise, Persian blue, white and ruby cog cane is encircled by a chain of 14 Queen Victoria silhouettes inside a close packed arrangement of cog canes, ruffle canes, Victoria silhouettes and trefoil canes, in pink, turquoise, cobalt blue, ruby and white. The exterior of the design is decorated with a border of white cogs. Other designs of this type have been attributed to Bacchus. Diameter 3 9/16". $600-900

106. Whitefriars type/Walsh-Walsh concentric millefiori weight with circlets of complex cog and quatrefoil canes, in pink, blue and white, around a central complex cog cane. (See Old English Paperweights,pp. 108-122) Diameter 3". $300-400

It has a perfectly flat base with a rough pontil mark."—Old English Paperweights.(See Old English Paperweights,p. 177) Diameter 2 7/8". $700-1000
