157. Gordon Smith 1986 trumpet flower weight containing three white blossoms with yellow filament stamens, on a vine with slender, twisted, yellow-green leaves, over a translucent cobalt blue ground. Signed and dated. "Gordon Smith first became interested in glassmaking at the age of fifteen while visiting a demonstration at Wheaton Village in 1975. Randall Grubb 1997 white moonflower weight, the trumpet-shaped white flower grows on a stem, with twisted buds and heart-shaped green leaves, over a translucent cobalt blue ground, inside a garland of complex white heart and star canes. Signed and dated. Limited edition of 10. "Randall Grubb was first introduced to hot glass in the University of Southern California’s art department. He fell in love with the hot glass process for its seemingly unlimited potential. Grubb wrote his senior business plan on opening a hot glass studio. As part of his study he worked for Correia Art Glass as an equipment builder. 159. Randall Grubb 1996 sugar peas weight containing a ripe pea pod, that has split open to reveal its peas, hanging on a stem with three white blossoms, green and brown tendrils and green leaves. Signature cane. "Grubb currently designs and creates his own line of lampwork paperweights in his Oregon studio. Because he pulls his own canes to obtain exactly the right shades, his use of color is exceptionally delicate and satisfying. 160. Jim Donofrio 1996 cowboy weight. A white-hatted, mustachioed cowboy, in brown chaps, with whip in hand, stands up in the saddle of a horse galloping across a desert prairie. Signed and dated. Jim Donofrio began to work as an assistant to Paul Stankard in 1980. His pieces are heavily influenced by his time with Stankard and his background in metal sculpture. Diameter 3 3/8". $1000-1400

Parabelle Glass 1998 artist’s proof concentric millefiori colorground weight with circlets of rose, pansy and moss canes, in yellow, pink and green, arranged around a large central pink and green rose on an opaque turquoise ground.
