Sandwich Glass Company double clematis paperweight
composed of ten cobalt blue petals around a central pink and yellow center. The whorl of the flower's center has a pearly seashell quality. The vividness of the petals is framed with a short green stem and five serrated leaves; white double-swirl latticinio (See The Boston & Sandwich and New England Glass Companies, pp. 140-141).

with a complex cane center and green leaves on a swirling white latticinio cushion.

composed of complex cog canes; five and one facets. The claret color seems to seep out from within the heart of the snow-white bloom of millefiori.
"With few Victorian exceptions... paperweights were critically ignored; naturally enough, since in the Victorian emporium of objects of unparalleled hideousness, of aesthetic horribilia on the grand scale, paperweights were almost the only genuinely beautiful objects made, and being small, were easily passed over."-The Encyclopedia of Glass Paperweights.

with a formal arrangement of fruit containing five blushing pears and four ruby cherries, nestled in a bed of green leaves on a double-swirl latticinio basket.
