Lot 197
Lot 197
Saint Louis red cherries with green leaves paperweight,
informally arranged on a swirling white latticinio cushion; faceted. 1975 signature/date cane. The faceting again is employed to multiply the "freshly picked" fruits, and the latticinio adds delicacy to the composition. Limited edition of 450.

Lot 199
Lot 199
Saint Louis millefiori garlands paperweight,
with alternating loops of white and blue canes around a complex center cane, on red ground. The loops swing around the central cane in a teardrop shape. The two colors stand out strongly on the tomato red of the ground, and appear to be spinning, as if they were a pinwheel prompted by a burst of air. 1973 signature/date cane. Limited edition of 400. Diameter 3 1/8". Estimate: $450 - 550

Lot 200

The stately elegance of the paperweight suggests the richness of Federal-style design. Limited edition of 400 in 1976.
Diameter 3 1/8". Estimate: $350 - 450
