The minimal design of three, reminiscent of traditional Japanese ikebana flower arrangement, brings drama to each of the small flowers. The design is similar to the antique Baccarat Church Weight. "In October, 1951, a magnificent millefiori paperweight was found in the cornerstone of the old parrish church at Baccarat... (it) contained 233 millefiori canes... The discovery of the 'Church Weight,' as it has come to be called, helped rekindle interest in paperweight making at Baccarat."-All About Paperweights.
