As the spider sits in its woven lair, the multi-tiered pink flower seems to lean its head into the sticky trap. The wavy green leaves are another naturalistic detail. Signed. The millefiori in the tail are pulled out of their tight shapes, and the unfocused, blended quality suggests the dimensional feathers, ruffling, nearly ready to fan out in display. Signed/dated 1984. Diameter 3 1/16". Estimate: $300 - 500
