John Degenhart window paperweight,
in pale blue, with red and yellow frit flowers; four side windows, and one top window. "John Degenhart's glass-factory training included gathering for the blow-shop and blowing. In 1916 he became a presser and worked as head of a shop from that time until he left the Cambridge Glass Company. ...After working (at Cambridge) for forty-six years, John Degenhart decided to open his own factory... under the name 'Crystal Art Glass Company.'" -American Glass Paperweights and Their Makers.

Czechoslovakian fantasy flower paperweight
containing four red and white trumpet flowers on clear stems, rising from a white frit cushion surrounded by a three-stranded white garland. Multi-faceting creates an egg-shape effect.

Unusual Degenhart painted plaque paperweight.
A hand-painted tile of the Liberty Bell, an eagle, and two American flags inscribed, "Sesqui Centennial, Liberty, 1776, Phila, Pa. 1926"; on a bed of multi-colored chips of glass in orange, pink, aquamarine, yellow, and lavender, over a second bed of smaller multi-colored chips of similar colors. This is likely the collaborative work of John and his brother Charles, who spent time "after-hours" at Cambridge Glass Company producing glass paperweights. Diameter 3 1/4". $150-350
