A study in demure pleasures. A sweet gathering of upright pale blue flowers, on long stems with veined green leaves, seems to grow over a strawberry-cut base. To add light and complexity, the paperweight has a large top facet and twenty-four side facets. Signature cane. Limited edition of 300.

Perthshire Paperweights 1998 encased double overlay bouquet paperweight.
The artisans of Perthshire have secured their reputation in the annals of glass art, with their multiple-encasements and overlays. At the heart of this piece, an exquisite bouquet of pink and yellow flowers and buds, which is encased in a blue-over-white double overlay with fancy cutting. What could easily be a finished paperweight, is taken another step to a final encasement in clear, multiple-faceted crystal. Signed "P II." Limited edition of 30. Diameter 3 1/2". $2000-3000

An unusual presentation, with three upright pink thistles. Great detail in the spiky leaves and thistle-heads. With frosted exterior and star-cut background. Signature cane. Limited edition of 200. The central flower with a complex cane center, is surrounded with radiating buds and leaves. A spiraling ruby cushion ground is punctuated by a ring of spaced picture canes, including a leaping hare, a Mallard duck, and a sailboat. 1998 signature/date cane. Limited edition of 200.

Perthshire Paperweights 1997 one-of-a-kind pink clematis paperweight.
This casual bouquet presents the blossoms in three-quarter profile, with white honeycomb centers, buds and pale green leaves, on a swirling white latticinio cushion. The profile of the paperweight is unusually tapered, and has all over circular facets that add interest to the composition, and multiply the flowers.
