*Antique Saint Louis crown paperweight, the clear
glass set with rich red and green twisted ribbons, alternating
with latticinio threads, radiating from a central cogwheel cane
with lime-green overlay, encircling a group of cog canes around
a floret, in shades of blue and white.

Lot 81
*Antique Saint Louis dated 1848 concentric millefiori
mushroom paperweight, the tuft composed of three rows of
floret, stardust and composite canes, in shades of lime-green,
sapphire blue, pale green, red and white, about a central grouping
of green cogwheel and red and white stave canes, about a red
and white star, within a basket of cogwheel canes shaded in opaque
green, red and white. SL1848 signature/date cane formed in one
of the basket staves in an opaque purple glass that appears black;
blue and white torsade and star-cut base.

Lot 82
Antique Saint Louis upright bouquet paperweight, with
two lampwork flowers, and four cane flowers, in red, white, blue
and yellow. Three green leaves and stems reach to the bottom
and are surrounded by a blue and white latticnio torsade, on
clear ground.

blue, yellow and pink central cane on a blue and white jasper
ground.

Lot 84
*Antique Saint Louis garlanded spaced millefiori paperweight,
with five pink and white composite canes made of hollow,
star and floret canes, set around a central grouping of green-cloaked
hollow canes, white florets alternating with a rarely seen twelve-point
star cane, surrounding a blue and white floret cane overlayed
in a pumpkin color. The arrangement is bordered by a garland
of complex canes, in blue, pink and white, which alternate with
canes in chartreuse yellow, white and pink, on a ground of swirling
white latticinio.

Lot 85
Antique Saint Louis concentric millefiori with silhouette
paperweight, with concentric complex cog, stave and hollow
star canes, all emanating from the central silhouette cane of
a dog, whose hound-like features suggest it was modeled after
a "gun dog". -Hawley, The Glass Menagerie, p. 43. Signed
