*Rick Ayotte 1997 White Mountain bouquet paperweight,
with red and white tigerlilies. Limited edition of 35. Signed and dated. "The White Mountain National Forest was established in 1911. Before establishment of the National Forest, the land had been ravaged by uncontrolled logging and the fires which raged across the denuded landscape. From the first 7,000 acres of land purchased in Benton, New Hampshire, the Forest has grown to almost 800,000 acres in New Hampshire and western Maine." -USDA online Forest Service (www.fs.fed.us).

featuring a chipmunk with acorn about to feed its young which is hiding beneath an old log, among fall leaves, mushrooms, pinecones, wild arum flowers and blue forget-me-nots. So-called the chipmunk as its call is a series of high-pitched chipping notes. Signed and dated. Artist proof.
