Lot 194
Early Paul Ysart patterned millefiori paperweight,
with a well-centered design, composed of yellow, white, red and blue canes surrounding a large white and blue floret central cane. The outside ring is a series of wide segments of white latticinio, separated by lozenges of green glass, over an amber ground. The dark crystal encasement indicates that this was quite an early work of Ysart's, possibly the 1930s period. Chip near base and pontil mark. Diameter 3 3/16". $900-1400
