Lot 65
Antique Clichy miniature concentric basket paperweight,
with four rings of millefiori surrounding an exquisitely
formed white rose. Blue and white stave canes form a basket around
the tightly packed arranged. "(T)he whole design is often
so reduced in size, so beautifully executed and so subtle in

Lot 66
*Antique Clichy C-scroll garlands over sodden snow paperweight.
Each of the six 'C's is a different color. The center is
a bouquet of complex millefiori with three tight concentric rings
of cane. Forgiving a stray bubble or two, each of the little
'C's are nicely set, sinking into the whiteness and set off like
sugar candies in rich icing. "Arsenic and antimony were
used to secure the soft opaque enamel, sometimes called milk
or opaque white..." --Old Glass Paperweights.
