*Antique Sandwich Glass Company poinsettia paperweight.
A very fine example, with a Lutz rose as the stamen, and the
overlapping cobalt blue petals divided by air bubbles representing
dewdrops. "Artisans employed rose canes as the centerpiece
of many a Sandwich flower weight, and also in New England millefiori
designs. One finds the famous Lutz rose mostly in poinsettias

with a white bud, dark green leaves and stem, on double-swirl
white latticinio. A well-made and delicate presentation. "There
