*Debbie Tarsitano pink flower and bud paperweight, with
star-cut base, ca. mid-1980s. The motif resembles a cherry blossom
branch, which may have been inspired by her formal training in
watercolors, studying Chinese brushwork. Signature cane on the
weight's edge, as well as behind the flower's leaves.

Lot 135
*Debbie Tarsitano lavender rose paperweight, over
translucent cobalt blue ground, ca. late-1970s. Signature cane
"T" on the bottom edge of the weight. "By September
of 1976, 'Voila!' the first crude Pyrex weights were born--along
with the realization of how much more research and equipment
were needed. After graduation in the fall of 1977, all of Debbie's
time was then devoted to the experimentation and making of paperweights."

upright paperweight, with a heart of purple tahoka daisies,

Lot 137
*Gordon Smith 1985 lady-slipper orchid paperweight.
This showy flower was among the first few designs Smith made
as an independent glassworker. "In July of 1983, Smith
became the demonstrating lampworker in the Wheaton Village crafts
building, where he continued to perfect his paperweight making
techniques." --Annual Bulletin of the PCA (1989). Signed

Chris Buzzini 1996 Alpine Paintbrush paperweight,
with a large, complex, pink flower growing on a stem with variegated
green leaves and root system; signed and dated. Limited edition
of 10. "Because I studied and observed lampwork for years
before I began it myself, it came together easily. Now the major
components of my paperweights are use of color, attention to
