A close pack of candy-colored canes at center, over a pink-peppermint ground, this bright palette of cane design is refreshing and yet, a noble reference to the Classic-style. "PY" signature cane.

Lot 157
*Paul Ysart three-dimensional coiled snake paperweight,
decorated with green and orange dots, on green ground. With sparkling aventurine body, and an expression that could hardly be construed as malicious, this must be the least sinister-looking snake in paperweight history. An endearing homage to the Classic-era, yet unmistakably from an artist who enjoys glasswork with personality. "PY" signature cane on bottom, and a paper label.
Diameter 2 13/16". $1100-1300
