Lot 199
*Saint Louis 1954 floral paperweight. In clear crystal,
two lampwork flowers in citrus yellow and magenta, grow from
a spliced stem. Dew dropped by bubbles, yet centered by extremely
complex cane stamens, these mid-century efforts show a determined
Saint Louis struggle with the nuances of paperweight artistry.
"SL1954" signature/date cane.
Diameter 3 3/16". $300-450 |

skill is equal to that of their predecessors."--Yolande
Amic, from The Art of the Paperweight: Saint Louis. Signature
and date cane inside lower flower. Limited edition of 450.
