Part I: Antique Paperweights
& Related Objects
"The lure of the paperweight intensifies upon being handheld.
Through its lens-like dome, its design is enhanced, revealing
details intuitive to the practical eye. The collector and the
student of glass become tuned to subtle variations in color,
form, pattern and glass clarity--just as the scholar perceives
nuances in poetry, literature, art and music." --Geraldine
J. Casper, Glass Paperweights of the Bergstrom -Mahler Museum
