*Very good antique Saint Louis garlanded sulphide paperweight
of "Napoleon III," Louis Bonaparte. With a well-modeled
cameo of the French emperor, ensconced in a garland of alternating
crimped cog and floret canes, in red, white and blue, in clear
crystal over star-cut base.

Lot 80 a-c
*Antique, possibly Clichy, sulphide portrait plaque, featuring
a cameo of Napoleon I, wearing a laurel wreath in Neo-Classical
style, over a cross-cut base, shaped like a castor with scalloped
edges. Hole on top; missing its hanger.
Width 3 5/16".
*Antique, possibly Clichy, Napoleon I and Marie Louise sulphide
portrait plaque, featuring a conjoined profile cameo, cross-cut
base and scalloped top. Hole on top; chipped around the bottom
edge.
Width 3 5/16".
*Antique French oval sulphide of a young Napoleon I, wearing
his imperial uniform (unknown sculptor), presented in a gilded,
oxblood leather case.

*Antique, possibly Clichy, sulphide portrait paperweight.
The profile of a mature man in a laurel wreath, said to be "Brutus,"
is set in clear glass.
Diameter 2 7/8".
*Antique, possibly Clichy, Czar Nicholas I sulphide portrait
paperweight, set over clear ground.
Diameter 2 7/16".
*Antique New England Glass Company Louis Kossuth sulphide
paperweight, with a cameo of the Hungarian freedom fighter,
inscribed "Kossuth." The underside of the sulphide
is inscribed, "EX-GOVERNOR OF HUNGARIA, SET AT LIBERTY BY
THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1851."
