Lot 98 a-b
*Antique New England Glass Company scrambled paperweight,
with whole and partial canes, latticinio and twists. Less tightly packed than is characteristic of NEGC "end-of-the-day" weights, but several canes stand out very well over the clear ground.
Diameter 2 7/16".
*Antique Clichy, or Bohemian, scrambled millefiori miniature paperweight,
with whole and partial canes in an "end-of-the-day" presentation. A distinctive six-point star cane can be seen throughout, suggesting Bohemian-Silesian manufacture. See Identifying
Antique Paperweights: The Less Familiar, p. 9.
Diameter 1 3/4". $300-600

Lot 99 a-b
*Antique Nailsea-Stourbridge green bottle dog sulphide paperweight,
with a Spaniel-type dog, sitting up inside the green glass. Some wear to the surface.

*Antique Nailsea-Stourbridge green bottle flower pot paperweight,
with a large, petunia-type, foil flower, emerging on a slender stem from a well-modeled pot design. The plump, oval piece was possibly employed as a true doorstop, as there is significant wear to the sides.
