Lot 109
Antique Millville frit paperweight, with a depiction of a log cabin and
trees, framed by the inscription, "HOME SWEET HOME,"
over wavy, multi-colored ground. This is an example of a flat-type
powdered-glass paperweight design that was produced at the Millville
factory in South New Jersey: "In the so-called flat paperweights,
clear glass was placed over a plate of colored design. Then the
plate was withdrawn, leaving the colored glass adhering to the
clear." -Annual Bulletin of the PCA (1955).

Antique American souvenir frit paperweight,
with the inscription,
"Wm. J. Daly to Jennie A. Daly," printed in red and
blue letters, on white bands, bordered by twists of red and white,
and blue and white, over four mounds, speckled in blue, red,
green, yellow, and white. Unfinished pontil.

a band of cobalt blue, bordered by several colored twists in

depicting the U. S. flag
and the words, "Esther 1933 Toledo," printed in pale
green, over an upright blue, red, and green striped lily, on
